BioPhoT project teams are also invited to participate in the workshop, as the approach will help them to gain a deeper understanding of societal diversity and how different factors - gender, sex, age, health, socio-economic background, ethnicity and/or disability - interact to affect people's opportunities.
“During the BioPhoT workshop, BioPhoT project teams will learn approaches and methods that:
- It will help to make projects more inclusive, taking into account the needs of different groups of people;
- Contribute to the development of fairer and more precise medical solutions, especially in the field of biomedicine and precision medicine;
- It will foster collaboration across disciplines and make the results of innovation accessible to a wider public.
