FM&NT 2026 in June – International Conference on Functional Materials & Nanotechnologies

From 15 to 18 June 2026, the 16th International Conference on Functional Materials and Nanotechnologies (FM&NT 2026) will take place in Riga, bringing together researchers, engineers, industry representatives, and policy makers from around the world. The conference will be held at the House of Science of the University of Latvia.

FM&NT is a leading regional forum for advances in functional materials and nanotechnologies, featuring topics such as energy materials, photonics, ferroelectrics, microfluidics, and biomedical technologies, theoretical modelling, device technologies, and large-scale research infrastructures.

Representatives of EIT RawMaterials will provide insights into current EU priorities, sector needs, and funding opportunities for commercialisation and innovation projects. A dedicated session will introduce EIT RawMaterials innovation instruments, including KAVA Call, designed to accelerate validated technologies towards market readiness.

The FM&NT 2026 programme will feature plenary and invited lectures, oral and poster sessions, as well as thematic workshops and a DEMO exhibition area - opportunity to showcase your prototype and explore new collaborations, offering plenty of room for discussion and new connections.
