ALICE - Aluminium in Circulation For Innovative Carbon Capture and Energy

Description

An innovative process captures CO₂ using aluminium waste and water, and simultaneously produces solid carbonates, hydrogen and heat. The result is a local, energy-positive circular solution that converts waste into valuable resources.

Achievable results

Upgrade technology readiness from TRL 2 to TRL 3, assess CO₂ capture efficiency and develop opportunities for collaboration with industry.
