Bioactive fluorescent coatings for antimicrobial protection

Description

A clever spray coating that kills micro-organisms and visually demonstrates its effectiveness through luminescence. Based on the Dezosil and Fungosil coatings developed at the CFI, researchers will improve the biocidal and optical properties, providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

Achievable results

Develop and optimise prototype coatings with optical indicators, test their performance under realistic conditions and prepare commercialisation steps. / Develop and optimize biocidal coating prototypes with optical indicators, validate performance in real-world settings, and prepare for patenting and further commercialization.

Benefit
