Apply for a mentoring consultation to validate your TRL

All Research and Innovation Project (RIP) promoters planning to participate in the BioPhoT call for proposals, mentoring is compulsory.

The mentor's main task during the preparation phase of the PIP is confirm the initial Technology Readiness Level (TRL). This TRL value will be fixed in the application form and will be binding during the implementation phase of the project if the PIP receives BioPhoT funding.

According to the rules, the initial TRL must not be lower than “2”.

To apply for your first mentoring session, see the mentor profiles in “For scientists” -> “Mentors”, and follow the process:

  1. Check out KTH Innovation Readiness Level methodology, with particular attention to the definition of TRL.
  1. Fill in the application form, by providing TRL with details of your innovation project.
  1. Choose a mentor and book a time, by adding a link to the completed form in the booking field (e.g, SharePoint or Google Drive).

Important: Plan your timing well in advance to ensure you have the opportunity to receive advice and TRL validation before the submission deadline!
