{"id":1078,"date":"2025-05-13T13:54:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T10:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biophot.lv\/?post_type=event&#038;p=1078"},"modified":"2025-05-13T14:05:07","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T11:05:07","slug":"dta2025-rico-biophot-platform","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/biophot.lv\/en\/event\/dta2025-biophot-platforma-riko\/","title":{"rendered":"DTA 2025: BioPhoT platform calls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 15 May at 15.30, <a href=\"https:\/\/deeptechatelier.com\/day\/day-1-2025\/#popup=3497\">lecture<em>Scaling science into impact: the role of research platforms and public-private partnership<\/em>)<\/a> by Uppsala University Professor Anders Karl\u00e9n will take place on the festivals' <em>Deep Tech Stage. <\/em>Professor Anders Karl\u00e9n from Uppsala University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research focuses on the identification of starting materials and the development of potential drugs for antimicrobial drug discovery. Between 2014 and 2021, Prof. Karl\u00e9n was the head of the lead unit and co-coordinator of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) project ENABLE. He is currently the coordinator of the national project ENABLE-2, the follow-up to ENABLE. Since 2019, he is leading the six-year IMI-2 project COMBINE, part of the IMI Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Accelerator Initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this lecture prof.
