The aim of the program is to help researchers, university innovation teams, and early-stage science-intensive startups accelerate the transformation of scientific discoveries into market-ready products. In evaluating applications for participation, preference will be given to \u201cBioPhoT\u201d teams, participants of university incubation programs, and \u201cEIT Community\u201d alumni.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A practical approach-based program for participants to structure their technology commercialization step-by-step, using the internationally recognized <em>Startup Engine<\/em> methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A team of leading industry experts \u2013 Todd Davie (<em>Todd Davey<\/em>, <em>Startup Engine<\/em> author of the methodology, advisor to the European Commission and UNESCO) and Siim Kinnas (<em>Siim Kinnas<\/em>, <em>Intelegra IP<\/em> manager and <em>TalTech<\/em> Researcher in Intellectual Property Strategy) \u2013 under the leadership, will work on defining the value proposition, developing revenue and business models, protecting intellectual property, and establishing a clear market capture strategy for the next 18 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Bootcamp<\/em> In conclusion, participants will present their progress in two minutes <em>pitch<\/em> formatted, claiming a part of <strong>20,000 EUR <em>equity-free<\/em> prize fund<\/strong>, which will be awarded to the teams with the fastest growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is organized by Riga Technical University in cooperation with <em>Startin.LV<\/em>, <em>Startup House Riga<\/em> and <em>EIT Community Hub Latvia,<\/em>.
