{"id":5363,"date":"2026-08-27T12:50:40","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biophot.lv\/?p=5363"},"modified":"2026-08-27T12:50:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:50:42","slug":"from-completeness-to-industry-ul-cfi-and-ul-invite-you-to-explore-future-technologies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biophot.lv\/en\/no-petniecibas-lidz-industrijai-lu-cfi-un-lu-aicina-iepazit-nakotnes-tehnologijas\/","title":{"rendered":"From research to industry: ISSP UL and UL invite to explore future technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On September 24th, the Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP) of the University of Latvia (UL) and the UL will bring together researchers, technology developers, industry representatives, and innovators for the Industry Day events and<em> Sensing the Future<\/em> explore the latest technologies, discuss with industry representatives, visit laboratories, and build new cooperation contacts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u200b<\/strong> The event will take place in two mutually complementary parts \u2013 Industry Day at the ISSP UL and <em>Sensing the Future<\/em> program at the LU House of Science. Participation in the event is possible upon prior registration <a href=\"https:\/\/luma.com\/torvw7as\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/luma.com\/torvw7as\">\u201cBioPhoT\u201d on the LUMA website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INDUSTRY DAY <\/strong>\u2013 a morning program that brings research closer to industry by offering technology presentations, industry feedback and Q&amp;A sessions, as well as laboratory tours. <em>SWEB<\/em> and <em>FeLow-D<\/em> Project researchers and industry partners will present prospective technologies in the fields of functional coatings, smart windows, additive manufacturing, sensors, biomedicine, energy harvesting, and water purification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SENSING THE FUTURE <\/strong>\u2013 the afternoon program at the University of Latvia House of Science, organized within the framework of the BioPhoT program, offers an introduction to the technologies shaping the future of energy, communications, and advanced manufacturing. The event is designed as a practical platform for knowledge exchange, testing ideas, and creating new collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will take place at the ISSP UL, 8 Kengaraga Street, Riga, and the Academic Centre of the University of Latvia, House of Science, 3 Jelgavas Street, Riga. The working language is English.
