Description
A clever spray coating that kills micro-organisms and visually demonstrates its effectiveness through luminescence. Based on the Dezosil and Fungosil coatings developed at the CFI, researchers will improve the biocidal and optical properties, providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
Achievable results
Develop and optimise prototype coatings with optical indicators, test their performance under realistic conditions and prepare commercialisation steps.

Provides safer and cleaner public spaces in hospitals, schools and elsewhere, reducing chemical use and maintenance costs. Visual indicator helps maintain hygiene and reduces the spread of infections
