Description
Smart spray coating that eliminates micro-organisms and visually demonstrates its effectiveness through luminescence. Based on the Dezosil and Fungosil coatings developed at the ISSP UL, researchers will improve the biocidal and optical properties by providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
The Achievable Results
Develop and optimise the prototypes of coatings with optical indicators, test their performance under real conditions and prepare for commercialisation.
The Anticipated Benefit
Provides safer and cleaner public spaces at hospitals, schools and elsewhere by reducing chemical substances and maintenance costs. Visual indicator helps maintain hygiene and reduces the spread of infections.
