“PMNET Forum will discuss funding opportunities for the development of health innovations

October 9 precision medicine networking forum “PMNET Forum 2026" Researchers and research project teams are invited to attend a presentation session on funding opportunities for health and biomedical innovations. The session will be attended by Osvalds Pugovičs, Head of “BioPhoT”, and its aim is to help navigate support instruments and plan the development of research-generated technologies from idea and validation to market introduction and international growth.

Representatives of LIAA and the Latvian Council of Science will introduce the key terms and requirements of the program. Special attention will also be paid to support for the preparation of international projects, partner searches, and consortium building. This will allow researchers to evaluate opportunities for the next stage of development of their technologies and to timely plan cooperation with businesses and international partners. The session will be opened and closed by Agnese Oļševska, Director of the RSU Innovation Centre.

For health and life sciences researchers, including “BioPhoT” project teams, representatives of universities and research organizations, and technology transfer specialists who are looking for funding for technology development or want to prepare for participation in international programs.
