The “BioPhoT” Biomedical and Photonics Platform invites interested parties to an open day on May 13th as part of the international conference “Deep Tech Atelier 2026.” During the open day, you will be able to visit the University of Latvia, the Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, and the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis, familiarizing yourself with their infrastructure, research, and innovation development.
The event will provide an opportunity for students, young researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and other interested parties to better understand how scientific ideas are developed into practical, market-ready solutions in Latvia. Participation in the events requires pre-registration and is free of charge. More information and registration – “On the ”BioPhoT” website.
At the event, visitors will also be able to explore projects implemented within the “BioPhoT” platform, gaining hands-on insight into research in biomedicine, photonics, and other high-tech fields. The program is designed to foster dialogue between science, industry, and investors, strengthening cooperation and promoting the commercialization of innovation.
