We invite you to participate in the BioPhoT platform's in-person seminar “Responsible Research and Innovation. BioPhoT Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines.”. The seminar will take place on June 3rd from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at RSU, Konsula Street 21, in room 305 (on the 3rd floor).
An ethical and socially responsible approach to research and innovation helps to identify potential risks in a timely manner, strengthens public trust, and promotes the development of solutions that are safe, reliable, and meet the needs of various societal groups. The aim of this seminar is to introduce the implementers and applicants of BioPhoT research and innovation projects to the BioPhoT Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines, with special attention to the framework of responsible research and innovation, artificial intelligence ethics, and inclusion issues. The seminar will be led by RSU lecturers and researchers Dr. Uldis Vēgners, Laura Bitiniece, and Diāna Kiščenko.
