October 29: “BioPhoT” Conference Academic Centre of the University of Latvia House of Science gather researchers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, investors, and policymakers. The aim of the conference is highlight the achievements and next development steps of the BioPhoT innovation project, and discuss how to translate scientific excellence into innovations with global potential.

The daily program includes discussions on the achievements and insights of innovation projects supported by the “BioPhoT” platform, as well as on science and industry cooperation in Latvia. Panel discussions will pay special attention to the key stages and challenges that researchers and teams face when transferring scientific ideas into industry and the market.
Visitors in person will be able to explore the prototypes developed so far within the framework of the platform's projects, their practical application and development potential, as well as learn about opportunities to establish cooperation with research teams.
A special place at the conference will be reserved for an exposition of technologies developed by the “BioPhoT” program teams, and presentations by the “BioPhoT”-supported teams on their achievements and future cooperation opportunities are also planned.
