VIDEO: Seminar “Responsible Research and Innovation. BioPhoT Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines”

An ethical and socially responsible approach to research and innovation helps to identify potential risks in a timely manner, strengthens public trust, and promotes the development of solutions that are safe, reliable, and meet the needs of diverse societal groups.

The aim of this seminar was to introduce the implementers and applicants of the BioPhoT research and innovation projects to the BioPhoT Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines, with a special focus on the framework of responsible research and innovation, artificial intelligence ethics, and inclusion issues. The seminar was led by RSU lecturers and researchers Dr. Uldis Vēgners, Laura Bitiniece, and Diāna Kiščenko.
