The aim of the Presentation Masterclass: develop skills in presenting scientific research or pilot projects to investors, sponsors or non-scientific audiences.
You will learn the basic principles of structuring, form, content and public speaking.
In the practical part of the training, participants will have the opportunity to make a presentation to the audience.
Curriculum:
9:00 – 9:15 getting to know each other and defining the needs/training objectives of those present
9:15 – 11:00 lecture "The Message of a Presentation - Structure, Content and Form"
11:00 – 11:45 Formulation and demonstration of practical work (masterclass)
11:45 – 12:45 lunch break
12:45 – 14:30 practical work in groups
14:30 – 14:45 pause
14:45 – 16:45 participant presentations and feedback from the trainer

About the speaker:
Kristaps Peterson has 30 years of experience in journalism. Kristaps is a Certified Presentation Master, a member of the Presentation Guild (former board member), an international speaker (TEDx) and a member of FuckUp Nights Worldwide. He currently hosts the weekly business podcast "Median Report". He has won several awards in journalism and documentary film. Kristaps has worked with CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, NYTimes, Le Monde, International Herald Tribune, Eesti Paevaleht and other European public service broadcasters.
